..Title Honoring and celebrating Pritzker Law Group for being awarded the Gold Medal for "2024 Best Overall Law Firm" by the Philadelphia Inquirer in their first ever "Philly Favorites" and for their contribution and commitment to the legal profession in Philadelphia. ..Body WHEREAS, Pritzker Law Group ("PLG") was founded in 2017 by twin attorneys Adam and Rachael Pritzker and is the City's only Certified Women-Owned Law firm focused in the areas of real estate, business and government relations; and WHEREAS, Pritzker Law Group's, Chief Executive Officer, Rachael Pritzker began her legal career working at a private Center City law firm practicing zoning, land use, public finance and government relations, working with now current State Senator Sharif Street, Esquire and former City Council staffer Darwin Beauvais, Esquire, understanding the private side of real estate, government relations, and development; and WHEREAS, Rachael Pritzker moved her career into the public sector serving in Philadelphia City Council as Legislative Counsel to former Councilman At-Large Allan Domb during his first term in City Council, drafting legislation and working on a variety of business and efficiency initiatives; and WHEREAS, Adam Pritzker started his legal career clerking for various judges including former President Judge of the Pennsylvania Superior Court, Susan Pikes-Gantman, then working in venture and legal technology sales understanding both the legal and private industries; and WHEREAS, Having experienced careers in the private sector and in local and state government Adam and Rachael Pritzker founded PLG as a solution for homeowners, investors, institutions, developers and non-profits to successfully interface with local government and obtain approvals and resolve various legal issues they face on a regular basis; and WHEREAS, PLG provides a variety of legal services including LLC formations, operating agreements and business documents, expediting and permit filing services, leases and document review, permit and license expediting, land use and zoning services, tax abatement submissions and tax assessment appeals, condominium and transactional services, advocacy, government relations and more; and WHEREAS, PLG has represented thousands of clients and has secured tens of thousands of City approvals since its inception and has been awarded by various legal and business entities and organizations for its client work, leadership, mentorship and commitment to excellence; and WHEREAS, PLG and its attorneys have won the following awards in recent years: WBEC - EAST Resiliency Award - Rachael Pritzker (2023), Adam and Rachael Super Lawyers (consecutively since 2019), Expertise.com - Best Tax Attorneys in Philadelphia (consecutively since 2022), 2024 Who's Who, Expertise.com - Trusted Litigation Attorneys (2022-24), Women in Law - Feature Article - Rachael Pritzker (2023), Award Recipient 40 Under 40 - Rachael Pritzker, Legal Intelligencer - Best Law Firm Mentor - Rachael Pritzker (2023) and Lawyers on the Fast Track - Small/Midsize Firms - Rachael Pritzker (2024); and WHEREAS, Pritzker Law Group was recently awarded the Gold Medal for Best Overall Law Firm in 2024, nominations for the Philadelphia Inquirer's first "Philly Favorites" took place December 4 through December 15, 2023 where 586,000 votes were cast between January 1st and January 19th of 2024, and Pritzker Law Group was awarded the top recognition, Gold Medal for Best Overall Law Firm of 2024, among many of the City's largest law firms and successful businesses; and WHEREAS, Pritzker Law Group will continue to strive for excellence as a representation of what Philadelphia is capable of, and provide excellent legal services as a prominent Certified Women-Owned Business, helping support the real estate and business community and its clients; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA Hereby honors and celebrates the continued success of City Council colleague Rachael Pritzker and Pritzker Law Group for this top recognition. FURTHER RESOLVED, That an Engrossed copy of this resolution be presented to Rachael Pritzker and Pritzker Law Group, further evidencing the sincere respect of this legislative body. ..End
