..Title Authorizing real estate transactions by the Commissioner of Public Property, the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority and the Philadelphia Land Bank necessary to permit the City of Philadelphia to acquire property bounded by Island Avenue, Elmwood Avenue, South 77th Street, Buist Avenue, South 78th Street, Cobbs Creek waterway, the vacated section of South 75th, and the former Grays Avenue, including property known as Cibotti Recreation Center, all under certain terms and conditions. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. The Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City, is hereby authorized to acquire, by any means including condemnation, fee simple title or a lesser real estate interest in all or a portion of the property bounded by Island Avenue, Elmwood Avenue, South 77th Street, Buist Avenue, South 78th Street, Cobbs Creek waterway, the vacated section of South 75th, and the former Grays Avenue, which includes property currently known as Cibotti Recreational Center and property intended to be utilized for recreational purposes. SECTION 2. The Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority is authorized to transfer to the City of Philadelphia fee simple title to property known as Cibotti Recreation Center and is authorized to transfer to the Philadelphia Land Bank all or a portion of the property it owns bounded by Island Avenue, Elmwood Avenue, South 77th Street, Buist Avenue, South 78th Street, Cobbs Creek waterway, the vacated section of South 75th, and the former Grays Avenue. SECTION 3. The Philadelphia Land Bank is authorized to transfer to the City of Philadelphia fee simple title or a lesser real estate interest to property it owns or acquires in all or a portion of the property bounded by Island Avenue, Elmwood Avenue, South 77th Street, Buist Avenue, South 78th Street, Cobbs Creek waterway, the vacated section of South 75th, and the former Grays Avenue. SECTION 4. The Commissioner of Public Property is hereby authorized to execute all other documents necessary or appropriate for the purpose of accepting fee simple title or a lesser real estate interest to all or a portion of the above described parcel or parcels. SECTION 5. The City Solicitor is authorized to review and approve all instruments and documents necessary to effectuate the acquisitions and transfers authorized by this Ordinance. Those instruments and documents shall contain such terms and conditions as the City Solicitor deems necessary and proper to protect the interests of the City and to carry out the purposes of this Ordinance. ..End
