..Title Confirming the appointment of Wesley R. Payne, IV, as a member of the Board of Ethics, to serve in the term ending November 16, 2029. ..Body WHEREAS, Valerie Harrison, currently a member of the Board of Ethics, has advised the Mayor that she intends to vacate her seat on the Board, effective upon confirmation of her successor; and WHEREAS, Mayor Cherelle L. Parker has nominated Wesley R. Payne, IV, for appointment as a member of the Board of Ethics, to serve in the term ending November 16, 2029; and WHEREAS, Section 3-806 of the Charter requires the advice and consent of a majority of all members of the Council for the appointment of members of the Board of Ethics; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, THAT THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, Hereby consents to and confirms the appointment of Wesley R. Payne, IV, as a member of the Board of Ethics, to serve in the term ending November 16, 2029. ..End
