..Title Amending Section 19-203 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Payroll Deductions," by authorizing payroll deductions for certain benefits, including deductions payable to American Family Life Assurance Company (AFLAC) and The John Hancock Life Insurance Company. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Section 19-203 of The Philadelphia Code is amended to read as follows: §19-203. Payroll Deductions. * * * (10) Payroll deductions may be authorized by City Employees of AFSCME District Council 33, as well as any other City employee who elects to purchase voluntary insurance benefits through AFLAC, John Hancock Life, or both. ___________________________________ Explanation: Italics indicate new matter added. ..End
