..Title To amend the Philadelphia Zoning Maps by changing the zoning designations of the following area of the City: area generally bounded by Rhawn street, Whitaker street, a certain railroad right-of-way, Kendrick street extended and Dorcas street. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 14-103 of The Philadelphia Code, the Philadelphia Zoning Maps are hereby amended by changing the zoning designations of the following areas of the City from Class "R-5" Residential to Class "R1-A" Residential: Parcel 1: Beginning at a point on the Northeasterly side of Rhawn street (70 feet wide) which point is measured South 50 degrees 11 minutes 11 seconds East along the said Northeasterly side of Rhawn street the distance of 150.354 feet from a point formed by an intersection of the said Northeasterly side of Rhawn street and the Southeasterly side of Whitaker avenue (56 feet wide); thence extending from said point of beginning North 37 degrees 40 minutes 53 seconds East partly crossing the bed of the former Northeast Freeway Ramp (stricken from the City Plan) the distance of 300 feet to a point; thence extending South 50 degrees 11 minutes 11 seconds East recrossing the bed of the said former Northeast Freeway Ramp the distance of 75.177 feet to a point; thence extending South 37 degrees 40 minutes 53 seconds West partly passing with the bed of the said former Northeast Freeway Ramp the distance of 300 feet to a point on the said Northeasterly side of Rhawn street; thence extending North 50 degrees 11 minutes 11 seconds West along the said Northeasterly side of Rhawn street the distance of 75.177 feet to a point, being the first mentioned point and place of beginning. Parcel 2: Beginning at a point of compound curve on the Southeasterly side of Whitaker avenue (variable width) which point of compound curve is measured Northwardly on the arc of circle curving to the right connecting the said Southeasterly side of Whitaker avenue and the Northeasterly side of Stanwood street (46 feet wide) having a radius of 25 feet the arc distance of 38.3437 feet more or less from a point of curve on the said Southeasterly side of Stanwood street; thence extending from said point of beginning Northeastwardly along the said Southeasterly side of Whitaker avenue on the arc of circle curving to the right having a radius of 347.16 feet the arc distance of 109.5208 feet more or less to a point of tangent; thence extending Northeastwardly along the said Southeasterly side of Whitaker avenue the distance of 130.26 feet more or less to a point of curve; thence extending Eastwardly on the arc of circle curving to the right connecting the said Southeasterly side of Whitaker avenue and the Southwesterly side of Solly avenue (46 feet wide) having a radius of 75 feet the arc distance 96.941 feet more or less to a point of tangent on the said Southwesterly side of Solly avenue; thence extending Southeastwardly along the said Southwesterly side of Solly avenue the distance of 226.229 feet more or less to a point of curve; thence extending Southwardly on the arc of a circle curving to the right connecting the said Southwesterly side of Solly avenue and the Northwesterly side of Pennway street having a radius of 75 feet the arc distance of 115.2 feet more or less to a point of tangent on the said Northwesterly side of Pennway street thence extending Southwestwardly along the said Northwesterly side of Pennway street the distance of 162.114 feet more or less to a point of curve; thence extending Westwardly on the arc of a circle curving to the right connecting the said Northwesterly side of Pennway street and the said Northeasterly side of Stanwood street having a radius of 75 feet the arc distance of 120.604 feet more or less to a point of tangent on the said Northeasterly side of Stanwood street; thence extending Northwestwardly along the said Northeasterly side of Stanwood street the distance of 328.364 feet more or less to a point of curve; thence extending Northwardly on the arc of a circle curving to the right connecting the said Northeasterly side of Stanwood street and the Southeasterly side of Whitaker avenue having a radius of 25 feet the arc distance of 38.343 feet more or less to a point of compound curve on the said Southeasterly side of Whitaker avenue being the first mentioned point and place of beginning. Parcel 3: Beginning at a point of tangent on the Southwesterly side of Stanwood street (46 feet wide) which point of tangent is measured Eastwardly on the arc of a circle curving to the right connecting the said Southwesterly side of Stanwood street and the Southeasterly side of Whitaker avenue (56 feet wide) having a radius of 25 feet the arc distance of 40.197 feet more or less from a point of curve on the said Southeasterly side of Whitaker avenue; Thence extending from said point of beginning Southeastwardly along the said Southwesterly side of Stanwood street the distance of 324.791 feet more or less to a point of curve; thence extending Eastwardly on the arc of a circle curving to the right connecting the said Southwesterly side of Stanwood street and the Southeasterly side of Pennway street (46 feet wide) having a radius of 121 feet the arc distance of 194.572 feet more or less to a point of tangent on the said Southwesterly side of Pennway street; thence extending Northeastwardly along the said Southeasterly side of Pennway street the distance of 162.114 feet more or less; thence extending Northwardly on the arc of a circle curving to the left connecting the said Southeasterly side of Pennway street and the Northeasterly side of Solly avenue (46 feet wide) having a radius of 121 feet the arc distance of 185.5625 feet more or less to a point of tangent on the said Northeasterly side of Solly avenue; thence extending Northwestwardly along the said Northeasterly side of Solly avenue the distance of 226.229 feet more or less to a point of curve; thence extending Westwardly on the arc of a circle curving to the left connecting the said Northeasterly side of Solly avenue and the Northwesterly side of said Solly avenue at this point having a radius of 121 feet the arc distance of 156.398 feet more or less to a point of tangent on the said Northwesterly side of Whitaker avenue; thence extending Southwestwardly along the said Northwesterly side of Whitaker avenue the distance of 17.979 feet more or less to a point; thence extending Northwestwardly the distance of 136.6875 feet more or less to a point; thence extending Northwestwardly the distance of 290.187 feet more or less to a point; thence extending Southeastwardly the distance of 614.104 feet more or less to a point; thence extending Southwestwardly the distance of 717.321 feet more or less to a point; thence extending Northwestwardly the distance of 276.5208 feet more or less to a point; thence extending Southwestwardly the distance of 300 feet more or less to a point on the Northeasterly side of Rhawn street (84 feet wide); thence extending Northwestwardly along the said Northeasterly side of Rhawn street the distance of 75.177 feet more or less to a point; thence extending Northeastwardly the distance of 300 feet more or less to a point; thence extending Northwestwardly the distance of 225.5312 feet more or less to a point on the said Southeasterly side of Whitaker avenue; thence extending Northeastwardly along the said Southeasterly side of Whitaker avenue the distance of 130.160 feet more or less to a point of curve; thence extending Eastwardly on the arc of a circle curving to the right connecting the said Southeasterly side of Whitaker avenue and the Southwesterly side of Stanwood street having a radius of 25 feet the arc distance of 40.1979 feet more or less to a point of tangent on the said Southwesterly side of Stanwood street being the first mentioned point and place of beginning. Parcel 4: Beginning at an interior point located the following 4 courses and distances from the point of intersection formed by the Northeasterly side of Rhawn street (70 feet wide) and the Northeasterly side of Dorcas street (50 feet wide); (1) thence extending North 37 degrees 40 minutes 53 seconds East along a Northwesterly side of said Dorcas street, the distance of 614.402 feet to a point of curve; (2) thence further extending Northeastwardly along a Northwesterly side of the said Dorcas street along a line curving to the right with a radius of 550 feet and an arc distance of 70.568 feet to a point of tangency; (3) thence further extending North 45 degrees 1 minute 58 seconds East along a Northwesterly side of the said Dorcas street, the distance of 334.270 feet to a point; (4) thence extending North 50 degrees 20 minutes 53 seconds West, the distance of 318.7291 feet to the point of beginning; thence further extending North 50 degrees 20 minutes 53 seconds West, the distance of 453.8958 feet to a point of curve (said curved line being an arc located 150 feet 0 inches Southeastwardly of the center line of the New York Short Line Railroad); thence extending Northeastwardly along a line curving to the left with a radius of 11,580.875 feet and an arc distance of 1,728.9895 feet to a point; thence extending South 37 degrees 30 minutes 23 seconds West, the distance of 1,683.7604 feet to the first mentioned point and place of beginning.
