..Title Amending Section 2 of an Ordinance (Bill No. 970720) approved March 20, 1998, entitled "An Ordinance authorizing and directing the revision of lines and grades on a portion of City Plan No. 55 by striking from the City Plan and vacating the legally open portions of Pearce street extending from Adams avenue eastwardly to Church street, under certain terms and conditions," by extending the time for compliance with the conditions stated therein. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Section 2 of an Ordinance (Bill No. 970720) approved March 20, 1998 is hereby amended to read as follows: SECTION 2. This authorization is conditional upon compliance with the following requirements [within one (1) year from the date this Ordinance becomes law] by March 31, 2002. * * * SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall not become effective unless the sum of two hundred dollars ($200.00), toward costs thereof, is paid into the City Treasury within sixty (60) days after this Ordinance becomes law. ___________________________________ Explanation: [Brackets] indicate matter deleted.
