..Title Amending Title 14 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Zoning and Planning," by amending Section 14-508, entitled "G-2" Industrial District, by deleting certain uses from the list of uses that are permitted in the "G-2" Industrial District, all under certain terms and conditions. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Title 14 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows: TITLE 14. ZONING AND PLANNING * * * CHAPTER 14-500. INDUSTRIAL DISTRICTS * * * §14-508. "G-2" Industrial District. (1) Use Regulations - General. The specific uses permitted in this District shall be the erection, construction, alteration, or use of buildings and/or land for: * * * [(b) (.1) Auto, machine or wagon repair shop, including auto body and fender work and painting; (.2) Automobile service station for the retail sale of automobile fuels, lubricants, radiator fluids and accessories, and for the performance indoors of incidental service and repairs to automobiles, and the inspection of automobiles, provided the same is licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; (.3) Car washing establishment, using mechanical equipment for the purpose of washing and/or polishing automobiles and other vehicles;] (b) Reserved. * * * (g) The following uses as a main use: [(.1) Public garage; (.2) Private garage; (.3) Public parking lot; (.4) Private parking lot; (.5) Automobile sales lot and automobile showroom; car rental;] [(.6)] (.1) Trolley and cab stations, bus terminals, and car and bus barns; [(.7)] (.2) Heliports; [(.8)] (.3) Penal and correctional institutions (private or public); * * * §14-509. "LR" Least Restricted Industrial District. (1) Use Regulations. The specific uses permitted in this district shall be the erection, construction, alteration or use of buildings and/or land for: (a) The uses permitted in "G-2" General Industrial Districts, with all use qualifications removed, except that when any use is herein defined, listed, or prohibited, the regulations of this district shall apply; (a.1) Auto, machine or wagon repair shop, including auto body and fender work and painting; * * * ___________________________________ Explanation: [Brackets] indicate matter deleted.
