..Title Authorizing the President of the Fairmount Park Commission and the Executive Director of Fairmount Park, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, to enter into an agreement with the Cobbs Creek Community Environmental Education Center, Inc. ("CCCEEC"), a not-for-profit corporation organized and existing under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, pursuant to which CCCEEC shall be licensed to use a portion of that certain premises known as the Cobbs Creek Environmental Educational Center located within Fairmount Park, under and subject to certain terms and conditions. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. The President of the Fairmount Park Commission and the Executive Director of Fairmount Park are hereby authorized to enter into a license agreement ("License Agreement") by and between the City of Philadelphia and the Cobbs Creek Community Environmental Education Center, Inc. ("Licensee"), a not-for-profit corporation organized and existing under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, providing, subject to the provisions of Section 8-200(3) of the Philadelphia Home Rule Charter, for a ten (10) year term commencing as of June 1, 2001 ("Initial Term") and giving the City sole discretion to renew for additional four (4) year terms, and pursuant to which Licensee shall be given a license to use a portion of that certain premises known as the Cobbs Creek Community Environmental Education Center located within Fairmount Park, for nominal consideration, as more fully described in the License Agreement. SECTION 2. The License Agreement shall be substantially in the form set forth in Exhibit "A" hereto. The City Solicitor is hereby authorized to include in the License Agreement such other terms and provisions as the City Solicitor shall deem necessary or appropriate to protect the interests of the City. SECTION 3. The Chief Clerk of City Council shall keep on file and make available to the public for inspection during regular office hours the exhibit referred to in this Ordinance. SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately. ..End
