..Title Authorizing the revision of lines and grades on a portion of City Plan No. 231 by relocating certain portions of Canton street from Leverington avenue northwestwardly to a point approximately two hundred (200) feet northwestwardly therefrom, under certain terms and conditions. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 11-405 of The Philadelphia Code, the Board of Surveyors of the Department of Streets is authorized to revise the lines and grades on a portion of City Plan No. 231 by relocating certain portions of Canton street from Leverington avenue northwestwardly to a point approximately two hundred (200) feet northwestwardly therefrom, making Canton street conform more nearly with existing physical conditions, and striking from the City Plan those portions of Canton street inconsistent with existing physical conditions as defined by an official survey, under certain terms and conditions. SECTION 2. This authorization is conditional upon compliance with the following requirement within one (1) year from the date this Ordinance becomes law: The filing, with the Streets Department, of affidavits of public use required to legally open Canton street, as proposed to be relocated under authority of this Ordinance. SECTION 3. The following provision of The Philadelphia Code shall not apply to the portion of Canton street being revised under authority of this Ordinance: SECTION 14-2104 relating to the minimum width of streets. ..End
