..Title Authorizing the paving of Marvine street, Cambridge street and George street, under certain terms and conditions. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. The Procurement Commissioner, pursuant to the provision of Sections 11-502 and 11-503 of The Philadelphia Code, is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the paving of Marvine street from Poplar street to Harper street, Cambridge street from Percy street to Eleventh street and George street from Percy street to Tenth street. SECTION 2. In lieu of the provisions of Section 1, the party in interest shall file an agreement and bond with corporate surety, satisfactory to the Law Department and in an amount determined by the Streets Department, to cover the cost of the work required to completely pave Marvine street, Cambridge street and George street at his sole cost and expense in accordance with the specifications and requirements of the City of Philadelphia. SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall not become effective unless the sum of two hundred dollars ($200.00), toward the cost thereof, is paid into the City Treasury within sixty (60) days after this Ordinance becomes law, and the Board of Surveyors confirms the placing on City Plan No. 119 of Marvine street, Cambridge street and George street. ..End
