..Title Amending Section 19-203 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Payroll Deductions," by adding a new subsection permitting City employees, who are bargaining unit members of Firefighters' Local 22, to authorize payroll deductions for contributions to FIREPAC, all under certain terms and conditions. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Section 19-203 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows: § 19-203. Payroll Deductions. * * * (14) Payroll deductions may be authorized by City employees, who are bargaining unit members of City Firefighters' Local 22, AFL-CIO, who elect to contribute to the Local 22 Fire Political Action Committee, registered as FIREPAC. SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately. _____________________________________ Explanation: Italics indicate new matter added. ..End
