..Title Naming and designating the "Mallery Recreation Center" located at Johnson Street and Morton Street as the "Daniel E. Rumph II Recreation Center." ..Body WHEREAS, Daniel E. Rumph II was an outstanding community leader; and WHEREAS, His commitment and contribution to the Germantown area and the community at large is indelibly etched in the hearts and minds of the residents of Germantown; and WHEREAS, Daniel E. Rumph II was offered a full scholarship to go to Western Kentucky University, but came home every summer to mentor the young people in and around the Mallery Recreation Center; and WHEREAS, The residents of the community, especially the young people in and around the Mallery Recreation Center wish to honor the memory of Daniel E. Rumph II with a fitting tribute; now, therefore THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. The "Mallery Recreation Center" located at Johnson Street and Morton Street is hereby named and designated as the "Daniel E. Rumph II Recreation Center." ..End
