..Title Authorizing the Commissioner of the Department of Parks and Recreation to acquire certain easements for the purpose of constructing a public recreation trail to connect Junod Playground to Poquessing Creek Park and Benjamin Rush State Park, all under certain terms and conditions. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. The Commissioner of Parks and Recreation, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, is hereby authorized to acquire, for nominal consideration and for the purpose of creating a public recreation trail to connect Junod Playground to Poquessing Creek Park and Benjamin Rush State Park, certain easements from Antonio Origlio, Inc. ("Origlio"), and the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation ("PIDC"), generally in the areas shown as the "Origlio Easement" and the "PIDC Easement" on the map attached hereto as Exhibit "A." SECTION 2. The City Solicitor is hereby authorized to review and to approve all instruments and documents necessary to effectuate this Ordinance, which instruments and documents shall contain such other terms and provisions as the City Solicitor may deem necessary or appropriate to protect the interests of the City and to carry out the purposes of this Ordinance. ..End
