..Title Authorizing the Commissioners of the Department of Public Property and the Department of Parks and Recreation to enter into a license agreement between PECO Energy Company as Licensor and the City of Philadelphia as Licensee for a certain strip of land located along the east side of the Schuylkill River between Christian Street and a point approximately 612 feet northeast of Christian Street to be used for an extension of the Schuylkill River recreational trail, all under certain terms and conditions. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. The Commissioners of the Department of Public Property and the Department of Parks and Recreation are hereby authorized to enter into a License Agreement between PECO Energy Company as Licensor and the City of Philadelphia as Licensee for an irregularly shaped parcel located along the east side of the Schuylkill River between Christian Street and a point approximately 612 feet northeast of Christian Street (as shown in Exhibit A) to be used for an extension of the Schuylkill River recreational trail. SECTION 2. The License Agreement shall be for a term of 25 years. SECTION 3. The License Agreement shall be substantially in the form set forth in Exhibit B to this Ordinance. The City Solicitor is authorized by this Ordinance to include in the License Agreement such terms and provisions as the City Solicitor deems necessary or appropriate to protect the interests of the City and that are consistent with the License Agreement as set forth in Exhibit B. SECTION 4. The Chief Clerk of City Council is directed to keep on file and make available to the public for inspection during regular office hours the exhibit referred to in this Ordinance. ..End
