..Title Authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property to acquire from the Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development certain land along the Schuylkill River in the vicinity of 49th Street and Botanic Avenue, and making the property part of Schuylkill River Park, all under certain terms and conditions. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. The Commissioner of Public Property is hereby authorized to acquire from the Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development (PAID) certain land along the Schuylkill River in the vicinity of 49th Street and Botanic Avenue, as generally depicted in the attached Exhibit "A." SECTION 2. Upon title to the Property vesting in the City, the Property shall, by operation of this Section 2, be incorporated into Schuylkill River Park, and shall likewise be a part of the Fairmount Park System, consistent with Section 15-201 of The Philadelphia Code. SECTION 3. The City Solicitor is hereby authorized to impose such terms and conditions on the transaction authorized by this Ordinance as the City Solicitor deems necessary and proper to protect the interests of the City, and to carry out the purposes of this Ordinance. ..End 2
