..Title Amending Section 9-605 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled 'Towing,' by increasing the amount of the fine that a towing company must pay for improper clean-up of an accident scene; all under certain terms and conditions. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Section 9-605 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows: §9-605. Towing. * * * (14) Enforcement. * * * (b) Fines, Civil Penalties, and License Suspension. (.1) Violations of this Section and any regulations promulgated under this Section shall be subject to the following civil penalties and license suspensions: Violation Civil Penalty - License Suspension Refusing excessive number of assignments (§9-605(4)(d)(.1)) $100 Failure to appear within 20 minutes (§9-605(4)(d)(.2)) $100 Improper maintenance of accident site (§9-605(4)(d)(.5)) [$100] $300 * * * ______________________ Explanation: Italics indicate new matter added.
