..Title Authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, to execute a release from a restriction contained in an agreement dated April 10, 1951, related to all or a portion of a parcel or parcels of land in and about the area bounded by Pennypack Park, Ryan Avenue and Rowland Avenue, conveyed by the City to the School District of Philadelphia in 1951, all under certain terms and conditions. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. The Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, is hereby authorized to execute a release from a restriction contained in an agreement dated April 10, 1951, and recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of the City of Philadelphia on May 9, 1951, in Deed Book CJP 2961, Page Number 472, related to all or a portion of a parcel or parcels of land in and about the area bounded by Pennypack Park, Ryan Avenue and Rowland Avenue, conveyed by the City to the School District of Philadelphia in 1951, which restriction limited the use of the property to a recreation center and an athletic field; and to replace said restriction with an authorization to use the property for school or recreation purposes. SECTION 2. The City Solicitor is hereby authorized to review and to approve all instruments and documents necessary to effectuate this Ordinance, which instruments and documents shall contain such terms and conditions as the City Solicitor shall deem necessary and proper to protect the interest of the City of Philadelphia and to carry out the purposes of this Ordinance. ..End 2
