..Title Recognizing and honoring Brilliant Stars Learning Center, located in the 9th Council District, for being a Comcast RISE awardee. ..Body WHEREAS, Comcast RISE supports entrepreneurs and small businesses with a comprehensive grant package that includes monetary grants, consultation, educational resources, creative production and media, and a technological makeover; and WHEREAS, The Council of the City of Philadelphia is pleased and proud to honor and recognize small businesses that offer extraordinary service to the community; and WHEREAS, Brilliant Stars Learning Center is focused on providing our children with stellar care, education, and engaging recreation; and WHEREAS, Brilliant Stars Learning Center was named a Comcast RISE awardee; and WHEREAS, Small businesses are the backbone of our local economy and are often the community staples that become intrinsic parts of the fabric of our neighborhoods; and WHEREAS, In all that Brilliant Stars Learning Center does, they further the progress of our City. Local businesses that, through dedication and excellence, contribute in a meaningful way to the well-being of their communities are integral to the functioning and wholesomeness of our City. As such, Brilliant Stars Learning Center is much appreciated; and WHEREAS, The Council of the City of Philadelphia does hereby extend its sincere gratitude to Brilliant Stars Learning Center for their extraordinary service to our community.
