..Title Amending Chapter 9-1000 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Trades", by adding requirements and establishing certain limits related to electrical contractors, all under certain terms and conditions. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Title 9 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended as follows: TITLE 9. REGULATION OF BUSINESSES, TRADES AND PROFESSIONS * * * CHAPTER 9-1000. TRADES * * * � 9-1006. Electrical Contractors. * * * (2) Requirements for License. No Electrical Contractor's License shall be issued unless the following provisions have been satisfied: * * * (d) Electric Vehicle Charger Certification. An applicant seeking to install, maintain, or upgrade an electrical vehicle charger shall submit proof of completion of the Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Training Program or an equivalent program approved by the Department. * * * (6) Prohibited Conduct. No Electrical Contractor shall: * * * (f) install an electric vehicle charger unless the contractor has satisfied the requirements of Subsection (2)(d) ("Electric Vehicle Charger Certification"). * * * SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days following adoption into law. ..End
