ARCHITECTURAL COMMITTEE MEETING 21 October 1969 Present: Mr. John F. Lloyd, Acting Chairman Mr. Erling H. Pedersen, Old Philadelphia Development Corp. Mr. Richmond P. Miller Dr. Margaret B. Tinkcom, Historian Mrs. Charles J. Maurer, Secretary SUBMISSIONS 522 Delancey Street, Robert Bray, Esq., Owner. It was agreed to approve the submission in view of the good work accomplished on the exterior. However, it was noted that the owner unfortunately removed the original iron railing and reduced the size of the basement windows. These changes would not have been permitted had plans been submitted for review. It was agreed that any future request for a plaque be refused unless the latter were corrected. PLAQUES REQUESTED 341 S. 4th Street. It was agreed that this building be certified and a plaque be authorized. The letter to the owner shall note that the plaque is allowed because a recently discovered insurance survey establishes the validity of his restoration. 410 Spruce Street. Approved, although first floor shutters were not to have been hung, as per letter of 5 June 1967. 412 Spruce Street. It was noted that the contractor was specifically asked not to install stone lintels to the windows, which has been done. Nevertheless, a plaque is allowed on the basis of good workmanship. 200 Delancey Street, a.k.a 334 S. 2nd Street. Request for a plaque is approved. 300 S. Second Street, a/k/a 200 Spruce Street. Request for a plaque is approved. 1017 Clinton Street. The request is approved as a good preservation. 108 Delancey Street. This is approved as a good restoration. No. 1 Loxley Court. Request approved. No. 2 Loxley Court. Request approved. 656 324 Lombard Street. The request for a plaque is awaiting a report from Mr. Lloyd, who has not yet had an opportunity to view it. The matter is postponed to a later meeting. There being no further business, it was moved, seconded and carried that the meeting be adjourned at 4:15 P.M. Respectfully submitted M. R.
