THE MINUTES of the Stated Meeting, 6 January 1977, were approved and directed to be filed. REPORTS The Report of the Architectural Committee for 18 January 1977 was approved with an addition to the minute concerning 410 South Tenth Street and directed to be filed with the official copy of the Minutes of the Stated Meeting. Mr. Levy asked that the following be added to clarify the Historical Commission's preliminary acceptance of proposed changes to the plans for the restoration of the building situate at 410 South Tenth Street: "Mr. Milnor was assured that the Historical Commission's possible approval of the owner's proposed revisions to the original restoration plan for 410 South Tenth Street was contingent upon the Redevelopment Authority's approval of these revisions. The owner was expressly informed of this stipulation in the Commission's letter of 3 February 1977." Recommendations by the Staff for the Certification of Buildings, Richard Tyler, Historian. There were no recommendations for certification. Report on Historical Commission Staff Activities, Richard Tyler, Historian. Dr. Tyler's report on staff activities for the month of January was approved and directed to be filed with the official copy of the Minutes. MINUTES 2 3 February 1977 OLD BUSINESS There were no items to be discussed under Old Business. NEW BUSINESS A Concern for Preservation Planning, Richard Tyler, Historian. The Historian, at the suggestion of the Vice Chairman, presented to the members present an illustrated slide program describing a tentative concept for the completion of the identification and certification of buildings within the City. He proposed the formulation of a preservation plan for Philadelphia in close cooperation with the City Planning Commission and other concerned agencies to supersede the present necessarily ad hoc response to preservation.
