This was approved, contingent upon whether it can be proved that the doorway and window to the west of it cannot be aligned with the windows on the second and third storeys. 212 S. Fourth Street. In view of the Thomas U. Walter drawing in possession of the Philadelphia Contributionship, the Commission expects the restoration to be precisely effected with regard to the roofline, cornice and scroll, that is to say, the acquaterial form. 5534 Germantown Avenue. Although the Historical Commission would have preferred the use of the first design submitted, the new building is approved with the recommendations that the windows be the same size as those in the original structure at the second floor level. The Commission requires the restoration of S. altered windows on the street facade, otherwise no plaque will be given. 328-32 S. Front Street. The Commission prefers the use of glass in the windows of the Delancey Street facade, rather than that they be bricked up, even though the outlines of these windows are to remain. But if no other solution is practicable, this treatment of the Delancey Street facade will be accepted. All other details are approved. 300 S. Second Street. The new submission, showing the use of scored stucco is approved, as requested, since it has been found that marble, now found to have been the original fabric, is too costly. 272-274 S. 2nd Street. This resubmission is approved. 317 S. American Street. This drawing is approved. 517 Delancey Street. This drawing is approved. Only the rear is involved. 251 Pine Street. This is approved subject to corrected details of moldings of the door and shutters. 900 Pine Street. The Commission notes most of the changes it asked for have been made in this resubmission. The Commission prefers that the building be reduced to its original proportions. The Commission requires detail of all moldings of doors, shutters or any exterior alteration. Needless to say, working drawings are required. Note, also, that Redevelopment Authority requirements in the use of interior space must be met. 118 Pine Street. Approved as per earlier approval
