THE HISTORIC VALUES COMMITTEE met January 21, 1963, in the Historical Society of Pennsylvania: present, Dr. Nichols, chairman; Mr. Williams and Mrs. Tinkcom. The following properties were reviewed and are recommended to the Commission for certification: 1. Woodland Terrace (all the houses on both east & west sides of the street) 2. 202, 204, 206 208 Spruce Street 3. 1336 Cypress St. 4. 83 buildings in area between 3rd & 5th, Lombard & South In response to the owner's request, 317 S. Lawrence St. was considered for certification. In view of its location, between commercial properties, it was agreed that this building should not be put on the Commission's list. The proposed that 257 S. 10th Street be "decertified" was considered. The Committee agreed not to recommend this action. The meeting adjourned.
