Maurer, Secretary SUBMISSIONS 304 Walnut Street. Mr. Noble described the lighting intended for the front steps. No other change to the street facade will be made. Demolition of 300 Walnut Street will expose the party wall. Brown brick, stucco, wire lattice for the material will cover this. Color of stucco to be buff or off-white. Reviewed interior details. All approved. 119 Pine Street. Details approved with commendation for good drawings. Exceptions: Stone cheeks to cellar bulk head; brick veneer preferred to stucco; and stone or marble base strongly recommended. 125 Pine Street. It is recommended that the cornice be designed in the 1830 period; that the base courses be of stone or marble. Shutters need further study (The Commission to furnish sample profiles). It is further recommended that the marble steps and railing of the adjoining property be copied and that the doorway of 121 Pine be used since it resembles the description found in the survey for 125 Pine. 226 S. Fourth Street. It is recommended that the present submission be discarded and the next drawing be similar to that submitted for 229 S. by with modification of details. This means lowering the height of the building at the 34 floor level, and using details of doorway similar to that at his Locust Street. 228 S. Fourth Street. Approved in general. It is recommended that both buildings be drawn side by side for comparison. Work not to begin until this is done. 229 Spruce Street. Doorway details approved. This submission is now complete. 321 Spruce Street. Approved with recommendation that the garden wall follow the recommendations made at the Redevelopment Authority Design Board. 804 Lombard Street. It is recommended that six over six sash be used for all window openings. The question is asked whether the existing door framing is original if so, preserve this. Window frames should be plank front and the shutters solid and panelled. The Commission will furnish typed building profiles. 618 Spruce Street. New sheet of details just received appears to be identical with that already reviewed, from which sutter details are missing. All

Drawing approved 1015 Waverly Street. It is recommended that the first floor window be restudied and that details of mouldings be submitted with the working drawings. 1320 Addison Street. It is recommended that the window sash be six over six and that shutters be hung where hardware exists. All other orders are approved and the work may begin as per directive from the Department of Licenses and Inspections which cite this property in violation of the Building Code.
