The Minutes of the Stated Meeting of the Philadelphia Historical Commission held on 6 December 1979 were approved and directed to filed. REPORTS The Report of the Architectural Committee for 19 December 1979, Herbert W. Levy, A.I.A., Chairman, Architectural Advisor to the Commission. The 19 December 1979 report was approved and directed to be filed with the official copy of the Minutes. At the request of Mr. Pinkowski, Mr. Levy discussed briefly the owner's proposal for the rehabilitation of the building situate at 117 North Twenty-first Street. This submission was found to be unacceptable to the Committee, as reported in the 19 December minutes, and a resubmission was requested. According to Mr. Pinkowski, this building originally had a store on the ground floor. Mr. Levy agreed to take the building's original design into consideration in the Committee's evaluation of the architect's resubmission. Report on Philadelphia Historical Commission Staff Activities for the month of December, Richard Tyler, Historian. At the request of the Chairman, the Historian spoke briefly on the problems of the Philadelphia Historic Preservation Corporation in obtaining 213rd STATED MEETING 2 3 January 1980 adequate funding for its facade easement program. Following an informal discussion of miscellaneous items, Dr. Tyler's Report for the month of December was approved and directed to be filed with the official copy of the Minutes.
