DRAFT Architectural Committee Meeting - 20 February, 1964 Present Were: Mr. Trautwein, Chairman Mr. Williams Mr. Erling H. Pederaen DB. Tinkoom MRM SUBMISSIONS 1 Workman Place. The architect (Mr. George B. Roberts) is to be invited to review the Commission's records and resubmit his plans. He is to be asked to include an elevation of the east side of the structure as the present drawings are inadequate from our point of view. 120 Pine Street: It was recommended that the present glass be per- mitted to remain, if it is original and in good repair; or if small panes are to be used that the first storey windows have 9/6 rather than 6/6 glass. Mr. Pederaen agreed to look at the building to determine whether the present glass and frames are sufficiently well preserved to be retained. (Saturday) Ironwork closed, approved. 311 Spruce Street. Everything in the drawing is approved except the sash in the third storey. The architect is referred to present windows at 915, which appear to be original and are 9/9. Another drawing, showing this correction is required for our records, which shall include a detail of the cornices. Jefferson Village. The Committee refused to review the submission until correct drawings are available. 417 Spruce Street. Mr. Erling H. Pederaen reported that he had been asked to make an appointment with the owner this coming Saturday and based on information given him at the Architectural Committee meeting, he will make every effort to convince him that the house as it is has great charm and should be restored to its 1840 period. 274 S. Third Street. Authority was given the secretary to approve the submission based upon Mr. Lloyd's approval There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 4:45 P. M.
