Smith, Clerk Unless otherwise stated, all actions mentioned herein were taken after motions properly presented, seconded and carried. THE MINUTES for the October 30th Meeting were approved as circulated. REPORTS The Historic Values Committee, Dr. Roy Franklin Nichols, Chairman The Report was amended in that further consideration is to be given to certifying St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church at 47th and Springfield. On all other points, the Report was approved and ordered to be filed with the official copy of the Minutes. Architectural Committee, Mr. George K. Trautwein, Chairman There was no report, there having been no meeting in November. The next meeting is set for December 14th. The Commission's Activities, Dr. Margaret B. Tinkcom, Historian The Report was approved as read and directed to be filed with the official copy of the Minutes. The Chair commended Dr. Tinkcom's report. OLD BUSINESS Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Sixth and Spruce Streets It was approved that a plaque be authorized in spite of alterations made to the original fabric as the result of a fire in mid-nineteenth century. Budget for 1963, Mr. Carroll reported that it is reasonably safe to assume that City Council has approved the Commission's budget as presented. It was reported that this area is threatened with a parking lot for trailer trucks. It was moved and seconded that the Commission could not appear at the pending Zoning Board of Adjustment Hearing to prevent this. However, a letter will be sent to Mr. Heilbron, expressing the Commission's sympathy with his point of view and suggesting that he write to the Zoning Board and interest local

Musical Fund Hall. The Chairman introduced Drs. F. William Sunderman and Stanley P. Reimann, members of the Ways and Means Committee of the Musical Fund Society, who had been invited to attend the Stated Meeting in order to outline plans for possible restoration of Musical Fund Hall. Dr. Sunderman outlined a number of uses for the Hall by professional and amateur groups of musicians, and some of the problems facing the Society in obtaining title to the building, previously sold to Yahn & McDonald. It was pointed out that the Redevelopment Authority can arrange the Society's repossession of the building in due time, through organized channels and at a reasonable cost. Further, it was recommended that the Society seek the funds to purchase the building and to fully restore it. Preservation of larger Buildings. This matter was referred to the Historic Values Committee. The Date of the Next Stated Meeting. This matter was referred to the Chair.
