Good morning, everybody. Thank you for coming. This is the Committee on Law and Government, a continuation of actually the public meeting, but just for the record, we had recessed the public hearing at our last session, so this is the public meeting on Ordinance No. 080008 and Resolution 12 No. 080040. For the record, we have a further amendment on the resolution. This is as a result of discussion between the administration and various other people, and I want to thank all of those involved, including the Mayor, for working this out. Basically the amendment sets definitive limits on the number of deputies to ten and that no more than four shall reside outside of the City at the time of appointment. And, again, this is -- this appears to be 3 2/28/08 Law & Gov't Pub. Meeting - 080008, 40 amenable to all concerned. So let me first start out by recognizing Councilman Kenney regarding the amendment to Resolution 6 080040.
