Good afternoon. This is the Committee on Public Property and Public Works. We have established a quorum. To my left is Councilman Rizzo, Councilwoman Tasco. On my right is Councilwoman Donna Reed Miller and Councilman Ramos. Will the Clerk please read the title of the bill.

Bill No. 051096, an ordinance authorizing the extension of and modifications to the trial program authorized by Bill No. 040558 under which advance approval is given to the Philadelphia Facilities Management Corporation to enter into certain contracts and transactions arising thereunder for the purchase, storage, distribution, transportation and/or transmission of natural and other gas on behalf of the Philadelphia Gas Works, subject to certain terms and conditions.

Thank you. 3 12/13/05 - PUBLIC PROPERTY - BILL 051096 Good afternoon, Ms. Parrish. Ms. Parrish, I understand you have submitted your testimony to the Committee. It will be read into the record.

I'm sorry. Janet Parrish. I'm the Executive Director of the Philadelphia Gas Commission. As you know, this ordinance has been unanimously recommended to City Council by the Gas Commission at its October 25th meeting, and those recommendations are detailed in the written testimony that we have submitted. We would just ask for a suspension of the rules so first reading may occur at this week's session of Council. And if there are any questions, I would be happy to 4 12/13/05 - PUBLIC PROPERTY - BILL 051096 respond.
