And as a result, and given that this is a heavily industrial area with uses that are
even more industrial, heavy industrial nature than what we're proposing, we believe that
this would not be a use that's inconsistent with the existing uses in the area.
And as a result of all those points, we would ask for the board's favorable review of this application.
My client is here to verify my testimony, and I'm happy to answer any questions from the board.
Why don't you bring your client on first?
Vak, can you please raise your hand to be identified?
How long has he been in business there, Zen?
well the he has uh the the uh mechanical repair business as well which is and also a trash uh
business metro metro waste yeah so uh so yeah so he's been business in the area for i'm there you
go um but can you please uh tell the board first state your name and spell for this tonographer
Vaktangi Mulazi. V-A-K-H-T-A-N-G-I. That's my first name and the last name M-U-L-A-D-Z-E.
Right. Do you swear or affirm to tell the truth, the whole truth, nothing but the truth?
Yes, I do.
Counsel.
Thank you. Can you answer the chair's last question? How long have your business been in that area?
Since 2020, about this is our sixth year. So, yeah, six years. No, five years, sixth year.
Thank you. And did you see my presentation on the screen and also hear my representation to
the zoning board? Yes. Yes, I did. Can you verify what I have represented is true and correct
and adopted it as your own testimony? Yes, it is. Thank you. You're welcome.
questions from the board
what are what's your
how do you deal with the trash
around the site
we don't we don't have any
it's to me
the question is to me
yes yes
we don't bring any trash here we dump all
our trash at waste management
transfer station or
revolt transfer station
or Revolution Recovery Transportation, we do not bring any trash here
because the trucks are dumping at the end of the day every day,
and our accounts are syrup with those companies.
So what we are looking to do with this facility is we also have some customers
that generate clean cardboard and some paper material and some plastic,
And those are the material that we're trying to provide our customers with a different container to bring it and, you know, bale it.
Like this place here before us, before they had fire, used to be a Fessmeyer hauling company.
So they used to bale cardboard and plastic and aluminum because they used to work with Lowe's and companies.
And they would bring their recycling.
And that's what they used to do for the last 22 years.
So basically, we're trying to do the same thing.
So what we're trying to do is pull out of material, like provide the customers with the different containers for like a paper product and cardboard and anything that's recyclable, basically.
Everything other than trash.
Trash goes to transfer stations and the landfill.
So we have like five different sites that we bring the trash to.
is your location in there a specific site at the location no basically this is the whole thing
it's the entire address for 5200 common yes yes all right other questions
questions from our attorney hillary emerson um just to just to clarify the
So this use is on a property that already has other uses or businesses with the same tenant.
so this so this uses on a property that already has other uses
Is that correct?
Or is this a new, this is a separate property from his other businesses?
So the overall owner actually owns multiple addresses surrounding this property.
And they each have their own individual use.
So for this address, it'll be this particular use.
All right.
I wasn't, yeah, I wasn't clear from the plan.
Thank you.
Thank you.
