ZBA Hearing - July 14, 2020

Ms. Hardister, we swear for him to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

I do.

Please proceed with his testimony.

The Chesson Hill Community Association is very much in support of this application.

We did provide three provisos in our letter of support, one of which is certainly pertinent

to the ZBA function, which is hours of operation can be any two nights of the week until 7 p.m.

and until 5.30 p.m. on the other three weekdays.

no weekend hours emergencies can be outside of standard hours we request that proviso

mr. chairman if i may yes please um so we we understand the community association's concerns

however we did voice strong opposition to them and objections at the meetings themselves

ourselves are feeling being several fold one that the restrictions themselves are

arbitrary unjustified and that other businesses in the area do not have to abide by these types

of our restrictions secondly and one of the major concerns was that basically the owners can't

predict for things that might happen in the future which would cause them to have to change their

hours and as we've all seen in the last several months the pandemic occurred and they've been

shut down for effectively four months now. So they now have a backlog of patients that they need to

take care of. And we're just not sure that those hours are going to allow them to do that moving

forward. Understood. Anyone else wish to testify on this matter?
