ZBA Hearing - August 12, 2020

the more people the more it'll push out the drugs

and such and I'd love to have neighbors

and see the place built up

these empty lots are just

terrible grounds for no good

Okay, thank you very much.

okay thank you very much okay i'm sorry i'm another neighbor my name is roman guzwa can you

so the other individual is finished sir can you put your name and address on the record

the next person up to speak your name and address please phone number ending in 649 now you can

speak. Okay. I apologize. My name is Roman Guzwa. R-O-M as Mary, A as an apple, A-M as Nancy.

Last name is G-U-Z as zebra, H as Harry, B as a Victor, A as an apple.

Do you swear or refer? Oh, go ahead.

2015 North 5th Street.

Okay. Do you swear or affirm to tell the truth and nothing but the truth?

Yes, I do.

Okay. Proceed.

Yes. So I'm just second what the other person said.

There's been a lot of crime happening in the neighborhood.

And I have been to the meeting and I've noticed the RCO meeting and I've noticed the way the votes happen.

Majority of the votes coming from people who don't even live on a block.

They're only living near the Fifth Street.

And the way the votes happened, they were just being influenced by one individual during the meeting.

And again, no one who voted, I haven't seen before on a block or even near the block.

And I'm pretty sure they're living, you know, far away.

So the vote, the way that happened, everyone who lived on a block, there was a few individuals that voted, you know.

And it just hurts to see when, you know, the judgment gets passed on things that needs to be developed for obvious reasons, and it gets turned down.

So I strongly, you know, I want to see things happening on the block.

Like I said, there's been a lot of crime happening there.

There's been, yes, there's been development, but they need more.

We need more happening on the block.

We need to make sure that every lot is filled with something, because I've seen drugs been dealing on a block, you know, especially on a lot.

It's been difficult to deal with RCO in support of anything.

You know, every time a vote comes up, it's just been voted in opposition for no reason at all.

So this is just my two cents I wanted to bring in.

Thank you. Is there anyone else?

No, that's all.

Does the board have any questions?

No.

Planning Commission?
