Before we get into the next number of bills, I would just like to make a comment and explain that I will be voting no on a number of these bills as we move forward. I would like to say for the record that I mean no disrespect or have any problem with the sponsor of the bills pushing and promoting these bills. 98 PUBLIC MEETING I said early on in the hearing that I would not be voting in favor, at least preliminarily, of any bill leaving this Committee or on the floor that has a condemnation or taking that has an occupied property. I recognize Councilman Clarke especially, along with Councilwoman Blackwell, have been working with the Redevelopment Authority and the housing people to try to better streamline this process and to make it more understandable and less contentious for people who have to undergo this situation. But until that is resolved, I would like to have my vote recorded as being no on those votes. So I will be voting no. But hopefully through the summer we can get this situation resolved. Councilman Cohen. He said that he agrees with my statement and will be voting no, accordingly, with me.
