The Law and Government Committee hearing, which was scheduled for a hearing this afternoon on Resolution No. 6 990066 and Bill No. 990056, both related to a proposed amendment to the Home Rule Charter of the City relating to school governments, is going to be recessed until Monday morning, June 14th, at 10 o'clock. We're sorry for the inconvenience caused. We've been searching to find the fifth member of the committee. There are eight members on our committee, and we need five for a quorum. I've become convinced that we're not going to get more than four today and so we're recessing the hearing until this Monday morning, at 10 o'clock. Now, there will be no other notice. Because the hearing is being recessed to this specific time, there will be no advertisement and so this is official notice. We urge all people -- we're sorry for any inconvenience caused but it's important that if you have any views with respect to the proposed amendment, that you be here to express your points of view. 3 6/9/99 LAW & GOV'T COMM.
