..Title Authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City, to execute and deliver to the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority a deed conveying fee simple title to certain parcels of land, with the improvements thereon, located at 928 S. 17th Street, 1009 S. 17th Street, 1011 S. 17th Street, and 1035 S. 17th Street, for further conveyance at fair market value, under certain terms and conditions. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. The Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, is hereby authorized to execute and deliver to the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority a deed conveying fee simple title to certain parcels of land with the improvements thereon, described in Exhibit "A", for further conveyance at fair market value. SECTION 2. The City Solicitor is hereby authorized to review and approve all instruments and documents necessary to effectuate this Ordinance, which instruments and documents shall contain such terms and conditions as the City Solicitor shall deem necessary and proper to protect the interests of the City and to carry out the purposes of this Ordinance. SECTION 3. Net proceeds from the sale of these properties shall be deposited in the City's General Fund. Exhibit A PROPERTY #1 ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground with the buildings and improvements thereon erected. SITUATE on the North side of Carpenter Street and the West side of 17th Street 17 feet and extending of that width in length or depth Westward along the said Carpenter Street 65 feet, 8 1/2 inches to a certain 3 feet wide alley leading into and from the said Carpenter Street. TOGETHER with the use, right and privilege of the said alley as and for watercourse and passageway at all times hereafter forever. BEING NO. 928 SOUTH 17TH STREET. PROPERTY #2 ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground with the buildings and improvements thereon erected, SITUATE on the East side of Seventeenth Street at the distance of sixty-six feet Southward from the South side of Carpenter Street in the Thirtieth Ward of the City of Philadelphia. CONTAINING in front or breadth on the said Seventeenth Street sixteen feet and extending in length or depth Eastwardly between parallel lines at right angles with said Seventeenth Street sixty-one feet to a four feet wide alley leading Northward into said Carpenter Street. TOGETHER with the free and common use, right, liberty and privilege of the aforesaid alley as and for a passageway and watercourse at all times hereafter, forever. BEING part of the same premises which James E. Kirkland, Administrator etc., by Indenture bearing date the 18th day of May A.D., 1955, and recorded in the Office of the Department of Records, in and for the County of Philadelphia, in Deed Book CAB 26 page 283, etc., granted and conveyed unto Daniel M. Roseborough and Edna C., his wife, their Heirs and Assigns, in fee. AND said Daniel M. Roseborough, departed this life, on or about the 17th day of July A.D., 1965 whereby title to the above described and hereby conveyed premises vested in the said Edna C. Roseborough, as surviving tenant by the entirety. AND the Commissioner of Public Property is authorized, pursuant to provisions of Chapter 16-400, of the Philadelphia Code, to accept title to real estate, under certain terms and conditions. BEING NO. 1009 SOUTH 17th Street. PROPERTY #3 ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground with the three story brick messuage or tenement thereon erected. SITUATE on the East side of Seventeenth Street commencing at the distance of eighty-two feet Southward from the South side of Carpenter Street in the Thirtieth (Late Twenty-sixth) Ward of the City of Philadelphia. CONTAINING in front or breadth on the said Seventeenth Street sixteen feet and extending of that width in length or depth Eastward between lines parallel with the said Carpenter Street sixty-one feet to a four feet wide alley leading Northward into said Carpenter Street. BOUNDED Northward by ground granted or intended to have been granted to Daniel Glackin on ground rent, Southward by other ground now or late of Samuel Bradley, Eastward by said four feet wide alley and Westward by Seventeenth Street aforesaid. TOGETHER with the free and common use, right, liberty and privilege of the said alley as and for a passageway and watercourse at all times, hereafter, forever. BEING KNOWN AS NO. 1101 S. 17th Street. PROPERTY #4 ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground. SITUATE on the East side of Seventeenth Street at the distance of eighty-two feet Northward from the North side of Washington Avenue in the Thirtieth Ward of the City of Philadelphia. CONTAINING in front or breadth on the said Seventeenth Street sixteen feet and extending of that width in length or depth Eastward between lines parallel with the said Washington Avenue sixty-one feet to a four feet wide alley leading Southward into the said Washington Avenue. TOGETHER with the free and common use right and privilege of the said four feet wide alley as and for a passageway and watercourse at all times hereafter forever. Subject to the payment of a proportionate share of the expense of keeping said alley in good order and repair at all times hereafter forever. BEING NO. 1035 S. 17th Street. ..End
