REPORTS The Report of the Architectural Committee for 19 November 1974 was approved and directed to be filed with the official copy of the Minutes. Nominations for the Certification of Buildings, Richard Tyler, Historian. The following buildings were approved for certification unless an objection is raised by the owner. 1706-10 Green Street 5930 Drexel Road Spring Garden Civic Association Request - Partial Certification of the Area. 2222-24 Green Street 2228-32 Green Street 2301-11 Green Street 2314-20 Green Street 2201-29 Mt. Vernon Street 2204-40 Mt. Vernon Street 2211-45 Wallace Street 2210-28 Wallace Street 606 North 22nd Street 610-22 North 22nd Street 2202-32 Brandywine Street 2 REPORTS (Continued) The buildings at&state at 1200-04 Locust Street were tabled until such time as the Commission receives more complete photographs of the structures. The request for the certification of the Church of the Holy Redeemer, 215 Vine Street, was also tabled. Commission Staff Activities, 1 November 1974 - 1 December 1974, Richard Tyler, Historian. Mr. Tyler's report was approved and directed to be filed with the official copy of the Minutes. RESOLUTION on retirement of James L. Ferguson, P. Otto Hams, Chairman. The Resolution, read to the Board member by the Chairman and appended hereto, was unanimously approved. OLD BUSINESS Desertification: 606-08 South Front Street, Richard Tyler, Historian. Mr. Tyler reported to the Board the camera's lack of response to the Historical Commission's invitation to attend a board meeting to present the desertification and the justification for such a request. Although the Board agreed not to deaccify the building, the owner will be apprised of the Historical Commission's estamey limitation requiring the approval of all demolition permit applications after the six month withholding period has elapsed if he again contests the

Desertification: 526 South Front Street, Richard Tyler, Historian. At the recommendation of the Architectural Committee, the Historical Commission reviewed the desertification of the building at 526 South Front Street and the suggested that it be recommended for removal from the State Register. After much discussion, the matter was tabled pending the receipt of additional photographs. NEW BUSINESS Statement on Certification Procedures, Richard Tyler, Historian. Mr. Tyler's report outlining the Historical Commission's Certification Procedures was reviewed by the Board and approved. (A copy o' this report is attached.)
