THE HISTORICAL VALUES COMMITTEE REPORT July 25, 1967 The Historical Values Committee met at 3 o'clock on July 25. Present were Doctor Nichols, chairman; Mr. Williams, and Doctor Tinkoom. The Committee considered Saint Elizabeth's Church at 16th and Mifflin and its adjacent' the house at 1421 Girard Avenue; and the entire block of houses of 1600 Rowan Street in Nictown. Because the street is under the Redevelopment Authority, the entire block is being certified in an attempt to conserve a potentially attractive middle income neighborhood. MBT:PS
