Good morning, everyone. This the Committee of the Whole regarding Resolution No.'s 010077, 010078, 010079, 010089, 010081, and 0010082. I would ask Mr. McPherson to please read the title of the resolutions.
Resolution No. 010077, a resolution appointing Sarah Nasuti to the Board of Directors of the South Street/Headhouse District of Philadelphia. Resolution 010078, a resolution 14 appointing Michael Esbensen to the Board of Directors of the South Street/Headhouse District of Philadelphia. Resolution 010079, a resolution 18 appointing Dan McGowan to the Board of Directors of the South Street/Headhouse District of Philadelphia. Resolution 010080, a resolution 22 appointing Stuart Simon to the Board of Directors of the South Street/Headhouse District of Philadelphia. Resolution 010081, a resolution 3 4/26/01 - WHOLE - RES. 010077, 78, 79, 80, 81 appointing Ann Verber to the Board of Directors of the South Street/Headhouse District of Philadelphia. And Resolution 010082, a resolution 6 appointing Alvin H. Plumer to the Board of Directors of the South Street/Headhouse District of Philadelphia.

I'm Ann Verber, a resident of Society Hill and a two-term member of the South Street Head House Special Services District.

In the interest of time, I'm not sure how to do this. If you don't want to speak to the credibility of all the folks, I will say that I have come to have known them over the six years that I've been in Council. And as you know, it's not a paying job and they all give of their time and resources to make the South Street Corridor a better place to live and do business, and so I strongly support the appointment of all them to the Board of Directors, if that's sufficient.
It's certainly acceptable to me because it is 5 of 10 5 4/26/01 - WHOLE - RES. 010077, 78, 79, 80, 81 and we have to be in caucus. In fact, we should have been in caucus at 9:30, as you know. But it would be very nice if you could introduce the appointees by having those that are present stand so that we could recognize them, and perhaps you could give us some information on them.
We have Sarah Nasuti, Dan McGown and Alvin Plumer from Plumer Realty -- I gave you a plug just then by the way.
The other two aren't here today, but I can personally speak to their credibility and I think they are all asset to not only the people of South Street but to the City of Philadelphia and I would ask for their consideration this morning.
