Thank you, Madam President. I'll be brief. As we've seen in the media in the last week or so, there's been a flurry of activity in Harrisburg relative to gaming ranging from slots at race tracks to full-blown casinos at some point in time and everything in between. I just want through this Bill District Councilpeople to have the ability to be at the table, determining locations and operation for any facilities that are designated in their districts. And I look at districts along the Delaware river from South Philadelphia up into the Northeast, almost Bucks 05/15/03 - STATED - 2ND READING & FINAL PASSAGE County, that have been talked about as possible locations. I do believe that the District Councilperson through their constituents should have some say in what goes in any location in their district. There is a possibility that once State Legislation passes, they may try to exempt this Bill from their legislation, but I do believe if they do that, that we still have the ability to go into court on an issue to try to determine our ability to control activities and uses for our property located in the City of Philadelphia. I think this is a Bill that brings communities to the table when it comes to gaming. We don't know what form it's going to take, how extensive it's going to be, or what impact it's going to have. And the only way to have some ability to control that is to make sure that the District Councilperson is there and has something to say about it. I trust our Legislators and Senators in Harrisburg. I think they do a good job. But having that additional on the ground information and input from the District Councilpeople, I think is appropriate, and I would urge the passage of the 05/15/03 - STATED - 2ND READING & FINAL PASSAGE Bill. Thank you.
Thank you. This Bill having been read on two different days, the question now is shall the Bill pass finally? The Clerk will please call the roll. THE
