Ms. Marconi

Good afternoon, Chairperson Young and members of the Streets and Services Committee. My name is Noelle Marconi. I'm the Director of Legislative Affairs for the Department of Streets. I'm here today to offer testimony on Bill 15 No. 260762. Introduced by Councilmember Lozada. The bill regulates the placement of a truck loading zone to be located at 1716 Frankford Avenue between Palmer Street and East Columbia Avenue. A one-hour truck loading zone all day, Monday to Sunday will be placed on the west side of 1716 Frankford Avenue between Palmer Street and East Columbia Avenue, adjacent to the property at 1716 Frankford Avenue. The Department of Streets is not opposed to this. Parking regulation and signs can be posted within 45 days. This concludes my testimony. I'm pleased to answer any questions you may have.

Councilman Young

Thank you, Ms. Marconi. Are there any questions of this witness by members of the committee? (No response.)

We do have a letter of support from the Fishtown Neighborhood Association at a meeting held on Tuesday, June 9th to discuss this loading zone matter. Thank you, Ms. Marconi. Is there anyone else in chambers wishing to testify on this bill? (No response.)
