Right. And, you17 know, and so forth and so on.18 The other part that we really,19 really are focused on is the part in how20 the construction of the new Zoning Code is21 going to go. We found in there that22 Councilwoman Blackwell has a paragraph in23 there referring to reentry, okay? I24 believe it's on , paragraph 2.25 102 9.27.11 COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE - RES. 1104591 That troubled us very, very2 highly because -- and that's the only3 thing in there that concerned that. That4 troubled us very, very much because, there5 again, that was a deviation away from what6 we believe the Zoning Code is supposed to7 be for.8 The Zoning Code is supposed to9 be here to help the people of the10 community, all right? and the people that11 live here. And we felt as though that12 clearly was a statement -- or clearly was13 an indication of where you're saying no,14 you know, this -- you know, you don't have15 to worry about the 500-foot rule that has16 been on the books by the Licenses and17 Inspections for many, many years. And18 that paragraph was speaking of just, you19 know, ignoring that and not having to20 adhere to that at all.21 We felt that was incorrect, that22 was a mistake. We know mistakes do23 happen. And, you know, we would ask that,24 you know, be either withdrawn or25 103 9.27.11 COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE - RES. 1104591 overlooked when you're drawing up your2 City Council -- the new City Council rules3 for the zoning.4 The last thing -- I will leave5 it right here and say is that, you know,6 as you see, you see a number of people7 here with us. And there are many, many,8 many more. There are a number of groups9 that are with us, okay? We are actually10 called the Southwest Coalition of11 Community Groups, and that consists of at12 least no less than twelve groups, okay?13 And we thank them all for being here today14 too and for helping us as well.15 That being said, I'll leave it16 there and open for any questions.17
