Council is now in a reconvened special session of City Council, which was duly advertised and commenced on Tuesday, the 16th of June. We recessed that special session of City Council until Friday, at 12 o'clock today. It is now about three minutes after 12, and this is -- the City Council special session is now reconvened. At this time, we will consider Resolution No. 980614, which has been reported out of the Council Committee of the Whole with a favorable recommendation. The title of the resolution reads as follows: Authorizing the City Council of Philadelphia, on behalf of the citizens and taxpayers of Philadelphia, to file a lawsuit against the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority and the Transport Workers Union requiring the parties to resume immediate, continuous and meaningful collective bargaining, i.e. court-ordered, court-supervised, until an agreement is reached.
