City of Philadelphia Cancellation of Public Hearing Notice The Committee on Housing, Neighborhood Development and The Homeless of the Council of the City of Philadelphia has CANCELLED a Public Hearing on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 10:00 AM, in Room 400, City Hall, to hear testimony on the following items: 240697 Resolution authorizing the Committee on Housing, Neighborhood Development, and the Homeless to hold hearings on how setting affordable housing program eligibility according to the metric of regional Area Median Income (AMI) fails to reflect the true state of housing affordability needs of Philadelphians, how this leads to City housing programs not providing enough funding to those who need it most, and how the adoption of a more locally defined AMI can be utilized to create and s
ustain genuinely affordable housing across the City of Philadelphia. THIS MEETING HAS BEEN CANCELLED. Immediately following the public hearing, a meeting of the Committee on Housing, Neighborhood Development and The Homeless, open to the public, will be held to consider the action to be taken on the above listed items.
