City of Philadelphia Public Hearing Notice The Committee on Commerce & Economic Development of the Council of the City of Philadelphia will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 2:00 PM, in Room 400, City Hall, to hear testimony on the following items: 250888 An Ordinance amending Title 9 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled “Regulation of Businesses, Trades and Professions” by adding a new chapter to prohibit third-party restaurant reservation services from arranging unauthorized restaurant reservations with food service establishments and to provide for definitions, prohibited acts, penalties, and enforcement, all under certain terms and conditions.
250916 An Ordinance granting permission to Haverford Business Association to install and maintain encroachments in the nature of decorative lighting fixtures, attached to existing facilities owned by the City or other entities, subject to such owner’s consent; all under certain terms and conditions. 250881 Resolution authorizing the Committee on Commerce & Economic Development to hold hearings on the disposition policy regarding the Polish American Cultural Center Museum located at 308 Walnut Street. Immediately following the public hearing, a meeting of the Committee on Commerce & Economic Development, open to the public, will be held to consider the action to be taken on the above listed items.
