City of Philadelphia Public Hearing Notice The Committee on Law and Government of the Council of the City of Philadelphia will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, May 20, 2024, at 10:00 AM, in Room 400, City Hall, to hear testimony on the following items: 240004 An Ordinance amending Title 11 (“Streets”) and Title 21 (“Miscellaneous”) of The Philadelphia Code to amend requirements concerning publication of notices in newspapers, all under certain terms and conditions.
240005 An Ordinance providing for the submission to the qualified electors of the City of Philadelphia of an amendment to The Philadelphia Home Rule Charter to create the Office of Homeless Services Ombudsperson as set forth in a Resolution approved by Council; fixing the date of a special election for such purpose; prescribing the form of ballot question to be voted on; and, authorizing the appropriate officers to publish notice and to make arrangements for the special election. 240030 Resolution proposing an amendment to The Philadelphia Home Rule Charter providing for the creation of the Office of the Homeless Services Ombudsperson, and providing for the submission of the amendment to the electors of Philadelphia.
240061 An Ordinance providing for the submission to the qualified electors of the City of Philadelphia of the proposal set forth in a Resolution approved by Council proposing an amendment to the Philadelphia Home Rule Charter further providing for mandatory annual appropriations for the Housing Trust Fund; and authorizing and directing the appropriate officers to publish notice and to make arrangements for the special election. 240068 Resolution proposing an amendment to the Philadelphia Home Rule Charter further providing for mandatory annual appropriations for the Housing Trust Fund; and providing for the submission of the proposed amendment to the electors of Philadelphia.
