City of Philadelphia Public Hearing Notice The Committee on Commerce & Economic Development of the Council of the City of Philadelphia will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, September 30, 2024, at 1:00 PM, in Room 400, City Hall, to hear testimony on the following items: 240098 An Ordinance amending Chapter 17-1600 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled “Economic Opportunity Plans,” to define development projects and providing for additional requirements for Economic Opportunity Plan approval, all under certain terms and conditions.
240582 An Ordinance amending Chapter 9-4400 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled “Responsible Business Operations,” by amending the definition of critical nuisance businesses and further clarifying an obstruction of an investigation, all under certain terms and conditions. 240314 Resolution authorizing the Council Committee on Commerce & Economic Development to hold hearings to investigate commercial office building market viability in Center City Philadelphia. Immediately following the public hearing, a meeting of the Committee on Commerce & Economic Development, open to the public, will be held to consider the action to be taken on the above listed items.
