City of Philadelphia Public Hearing Notice The Committee on Public Health and Human Services of the Council of the City of Philadelphia will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, March 9, 2020, at 9:30 AM, in Room 400, City Hall, to hear testimony on the following items: 200011 An Ordinance amending Title 9 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled “Regulation of Businesses, Trades and Professions,” by creating a new Chapter requiring that certain employers provide Paid Family and Medical Leave to eligible employees under specific circumstances, and providing for funding, enforcement, and penalties, all under certain terms and conditions.
Immediately following the public hearing, a meeting of the Committee on Public Health and Human Services, open to the public, will be held to consider the action to be taken on the above listed items.
