City of Philadelphia Public Hearing Notice The Committee on Commerce & Economic Development of the Council of the City of Philadelphia will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at 1:00 PM, in Room 400, City Hall, to hear testimony on the following items: 230165 Resolution authorizing the Committee on Commerce and Economic Development to hold hearings regarding strategies to ignite business and job growth and to make Philadelphia a more economically competitive city. 230530 Resolution authorizing the Committee on Commerce and Economic Development to conduct a hearing on the City of Philadelphia’s capacity to prepare individuals of all educational backgrounds for careers in the growing life sciences industry, with a focus on the cell and gene therapy subsector.
Immediately following the public hearing, a meeting of the Committee on Commerce & Economic Development, open to the public, will be held to consider the action to be taken on the above listed items.
