City of Philadelphia Cancellation of Public Hearing Notice The Joint Committees on Legislative Oversight & Parks and Recreation of the Council of the City of Philadelphia has CANCELLED a Public Hearing on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 1:00 PM, in Room 400, City Hall, to hear testimony on the following items: 251083 Resolution authorizing the Council Committees on Legislative Oversight and Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Affairs to hold hearings to investigate the current conditions and future of Philadelphia’s public libraries. Immediately following the public hearing, a meeting of the Joint Committees on Legislative Oversight & Parks and Recreation, open to the public, will be held to consider the action to be taken on the above listed items.
