City of Philadelphia Public Hearing Notice The Committee on Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs of the Council of the City of Philadelphia will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at 1:00 PM, in a remote manner using Microsoft® Teams. This remote hearing may be viewed on Xfinity Channel 64, Fios Channel 40 or http://phlcouncil. com/watch-city-council/, to hear testimony on the following items: 221016 An Ordinance naming and designating the Chew Playground basketball courts, located at 1800 Washington Avenue, the “Rasual Butler Basketball Courts,” in honor of Point Breeze native Rasual Butler, who distinguished himself over a 14-year NBA career, most notably with the Miami Heat.
230324 An Ordinance officially re-naming and designating Bridesburg Park, located at 3101 Orthodox Street in the City of Philadelphia, as “Robert A. Borski Park”. 230461 Resolution approving the Rebuild Project Statement for Fiscal Year 2024 pursuant to Bill No. 170206.
